VBS has always been one of my favorite weeks of the year.  Our church has been filled with so much laughter, craziness, stories, lessons, skits, food, crafts, singing. . . . and did I mention laughter!!!  It has been so good to see familiar faces from VBS last year, and to meet new kids this year.

There is no way to explain how my heart feels as each night I see a church working together for the same purpose - making a difference in the lives of children.

I am so excited for us all to come together Sunday for the Grand Finale Service.  It is going to be a great day!!  The children and workers will be sharing with the congregation and parents a little of what we have been doing all week. 

We would also like to invite everyone to join us immediatelly following the service for a picnic (inside where it is air-conditioned!!!)  Many of you have probably heard something about a dunking booth involving the winning team of our offering contest.  That will take place on the church lawn right after the service while the food is being prepared.  Whew - I sure hope the girls win!! Pastor Pat and Sparx have been so hot all week that I'm sure they would LOVE to be dunked.  (I never quit trying.)  HaHa.
