I am so excited about the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the church Sunday (Nov. 15) at 5:00 p.m.  People have been talking about this dinner for weeks.  I have heard so many people talking about what they are fixing and the excitement is growing. 

Not only is everyone cooking and preparing all the food, every age group of the church is also working together to get all the work done.  What a blessing!!  I talked to the children Sunday and asked them what the kidz thought they could do to help out at the dinner.  We decided that they were probably too short to cook the turkeys or to put up all of the tables.  So we decided that we would make decorations for all of the tables.  So Sunday morning during Children's Church the kidz are going to be working hard to decorate turkeys to put on each table. 

As we all come together for the meal, we will truly be thankful to God for all of His blessings to our church family.  I praise the Lord that He brought me to Manhattan!!  This will be my third Thanksgiving Dinner with this church family.  Wow this is a great group of cooks.  Mmmmm.  I can't wait.  See ya Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
