Recently we completed a Beth Moore Bible study with the ladies of the church.  I realized after a few days of finishing this Bible study that something seemed to be missing from my day.  I had gotten away from daily study and I could tell a difference in my life.  So I went to the Christian book store and purchased a study I could do until we started another one together as a group.  I chose a Woman of the Word study and it is pretty good for personal study. 

Here is a paragraph that spoke to my heart this morning:  There may be times when we are burdened with griefs and cares and are not conscious of the Lord's presence.  But as soon as we seek the Lord Jesus, we begin to worship.  A change occurs in our perspective as we focus on Him.  As we meditate on His attributes and begin to praise Him, our faith increases.  So does our expectancy; we can thank and praise Him for an answer to the problem (see Matthew 21:22).  Praise releases God to work.  Praise releases us to believe.  (Quoted from "A Woman After God's Heart)

Don't let the burdens of life get you down today.  Lift up your head and praise the Lord!!  Focus on Him and not your problems.  I guarantee you will have a better day.  Many blessings!!
